Never thought that I will have this good life in US. I came to know about this people when I got a call from Prathima asking me to share the apartment. Later we are joined by Swetha, Satya, Vijaya Lakshmi.But the plans changed when we came here. So finally Prathima,Vijaya sree and I became roomies in APT# 18 of Pres Ave, called as mini India. It was an interesting and a funny moment when Potti Para joined the troop. Completely unknown to each other we all became close. Later we have shifted to Apt#33.... para becoming the other roomie....Press became the most happening place and perhaps I can never forget this beautiful place in my life. Then Kinnera joined this mad group in Summer....we became Mass from Class lol....And finally entrance to Pyare Mohan. So completed the gang of UKY.And there are add ons for the celebrations(like Deepika,Pavi,sruji,.....) .
Some of those cherishable moments..... films screened by ISA, which seems to be a gr8 source of enjoyment at the end of week.....Walmart shopping, where a van seems to be insufficient...roaming in the malls for 4-5 hrs and ending up with 1 or 2 items....Thanksgiving nite out (which I missed :( ), Ram Mohan always thank God for the luckiness of missing ACER......yucky exams where Swetha and Para hate MS....after the 1st semester.....shifting from APT18 2 APT33.....CRY Committee elections in apr-07 & 08.....Kings Island, prat remember the Eiffel tower......car wash organising,can never forget the happiness when we raised 600$.....walking in the failed CRY walk....Kinns bachelorrette party :P.......Diwali Dhoom dance practice , Karee's super hardwork.....my cooking experiments......awesome skit,oops awesome performance by Menaka...DCS exam night out, Para's strange face for the Q's asked by Ram and Karre's immovable position.....shopping by prat and co......Lachi's endless arguments......satya and karre's hilarious fights...dance at ABDUL KALAM'S visit....CRY KADAM....luv KADAM's Dance rehearsals..skits, esp HIP HIP KARRE.....poor Deepika's workout.....Driving lessons,thanks 2 dada,kishoree,daffy camping and hiking in Smokies trip and the time consuming photo sessions of swe n Ram....too many unforgettable things.
Also some situations end up strangely. I regretted for arriving lately to UKY but that made us(me,prat n karre) as roommates. Kinns hated cockroaches but those are the ones who paved the path for her entrance to 33. Prat's group work for programming assignments made Kishore good friend of hers and later bro to me n para.
Never felt lonely ....never felt like missing home.....always these people are there to back me in good and bad.
There will be a stop to all these mischievous memories within 3 months ...wahhhhhhhhh ...... but LIFE MOVES ON. Now came for the first parting from the group....As prat quoted parting is part of life and meeting is hope for life start with a new hope in every phase of life......All the best Prat....Where ever we are lets keep our bonds strengthened and be the Energetic Souls Of UKY.
