Blogging

Why do we blog? I didn't think about this until I was questioned by my friend. Yes why we do we blog....Hmmmmm...Very difficult to answer but definitely a good question which made me to investigate myself :P..... I wasn't aware of BLOG till last year. I came to know thru one of my friends when I visited her orkut profile and saw her favourite web page. Then I started exploring "BLOG SPOT". I loved the way they expressed their feelings. After rigorous exploration finally I came with my own. Whenever we watch a movie, read an article or experience a particular incident you will be left with an impression. You can't discuss with other people at that time(b'coz they might not be interested or they might be busy or something other). Then you can pen down ur feelings immediately (instead of wasting others time)....And what I feel is this is their own jahan where you can express yourself. I don't know whats the reason behind other peoples blogs but I feel that

CRY-UKY's KADAM

KADAM -A SMALL STEP FOR A CHILD'S RIGHT..... On March 29th we organised last event of CRY- UKY for the year 2007-2008. Till last year there have been only car washes, walks and setting up of booths organised by CRY- UKY as part of fundraising events. KADAM added as a new baby for the Lexington chapter. Last year in May when we had meeting before car wash one of our most active volunteers( Harsha ) came up with an idea of CRY-NIGHT. Every one felt that it was a good idea but struggled for the proper time to implement that. Because during fall semester,ISA will have a big event called DIWALI DHOOM . Students will not afford for another event in the same semester. So the idea submerged. We conducted car wash which was a big success...we raised around 700$ and walmart people refused to match the amount as it was big :(. Then came CRY-WALK which was a failure (though we raised more amount thru donations). Every one felt like having CRY-NIGHT but at the same time pulled their hair fo

Meeting Dr.Kalam

Wowwwwwwww its like a dream come true for me. I am a big fan of his and during my Engineering days I used to listen to his every Presidential addresses with out missing any one of them. Amma and Bhavani(my best friend of B.tech)are the big sufferers for my endless lectures about him. I never thought I can meet him and talk to him. In January I came to know about his visit, later we were asked to send the interested candidates names to perform for the event. I bugged my friends for our participation but none of them showed interest, so I personally sent my name to organisers. Later I got a call from them regarding audition. Then swe woke up from a dream and sort of begged me [:P] to convince those people to include hers. Finally both of us took part, met him personally and left with an unforgettable experience. I was on cloud nine that day and calling all the people and informing them about my achievement.Still its like a dream and I am questioning myself ...."Did I meet him?"

Busy Bee...

Dance practice...Fliers...Potluck...Compearing...Coding...etc...etc. This has been my schedule since last month. I am running like anything and now I am like a bird that has been just released from the cage. Last 4 weeks I have been in a state of fast forward mode.Dancing for Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam program and then organising our CRY-UKY's KADAM its like a hectic schedule for me to maintain all these things. So I didn't get a chance to express my views on some of my memorable experiences that have been happening since a month. So I will post them one by one before my hibernation stage.(I want to sleep more,....want to watch movies...play and moreover want to gossip with my buddies which I have already started :P).
