Blended by Demand

Dance practice...Fliers...Potluck...Compearing...Coding...etc...etc. This has been my schedule since last month. I am running like anything and now I am like a bird that has been just released from the cage. Last 4 weeks I have been in a state of fast forward mode.Dancing for Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam program and then organising our CRY-UKY's KADAM its like a hectic schedule for me to maintain all these things. So I didn't get a chance to express my views on some of my memorable experiences that have been happening since a month. So I will post them one by one before my hibernation stage.(I want to sleep more,....want to watch movies...play and moreover want to gossip with my buddies which I have already started :P).

Dance, the word itself makes me to move my legs and swing my body. But I didn't get a chance to learn any cultural dance during my childhood. My parents were always afraid that this might ruin my studies. One more thing was transportation.I go by school bus. Dance class used to be a bit early.If I want to attend the class my parents must drop me. As both of them are working they are busy to do that. As a result my passion to learn was submerged during my school days. I used to take part in the other programs like skits,mime shows and some times in small dances. But never performed a cultural one. So I always longed for one. After my school days I didn't get a chance to perform on stage. But my passion for dance woke up during masters. I started learning Zumba in the Recreation center. And again taking part in small programs. Now I am performing for one more program.During the practices I have a strange feeling when I watch little girls dancing. I remember my school days and I ...

It has been a memorable birthday(23rd) for me. We had Diwali celebrations on the same day. It had been a DOUBLE DHAMAKA for me. We decided to perform just 3 days before, so we were continuously practising on Nov 2nd night also. Just before the clock stuck 12 we returned home. Then began the celebrations and other stuff. To my luck I have escaped the mess on my b'day because of dance. So returned to the practice without that. But I am still in the fear of abhishekam .....'WHEN WILL THESE GIRLS ATTACK ME?' Practiced till 5AM.....returned home and slept for some time.....and again practice. Finally in the evening performance ended up with lots of applause. Result was good than the expectations :). Enjoyed the remaining performances (especially skit) and food. Returned home late night and finally concluded the B'day with chit chat. Had an awesome birthday. Perhaps this might be my last B----------E B'day :P. Definitely a memorable one. The only stupid thing is I am stil...
