Kashmir Singh--Perhaps all the people who are aware of recent news might know this name. He will be released from prison in Pakistan after spending 35 dreadful years there. What crime did he commit? Did he kill any person?...No. Did he assault any one?..No.Did he go against law?...Yes he went against the law.But not against Indian Law....It was against Pakistan Law. He worked as a spy for India. After serving in the army for 6 years he was appointed as spy. And then he was arrested by Pakistan.Since then he was staying in that "DEAD CELL".


Army people are those who sacrifice their life for country. Country is nothing but we the people.We spend a secure and luxurious life with no fears. On the other side these army people end up with misery and poverty. Kashmir Sing's wife has been working as a maid since the time he was arrested. Leaders will have no time for working on these issues like bringing them back or supporting their families. But they will have certainly time for throwing dirt on opposition party leaders , fighting for the adjournment of Sabhas, preparing agendas for next win etc., Many families of soldiers who died during Bangladesh war, war against China and Kargil were not being supported properly. There are many soldiers like Kasmir singh who are spending their lives in Pakistan.


Even now its not Indians behind Kashmir Sing freedom. Thanks to the Pakistan Minister and Human Rights Organisation.

I was not aware of Kashmir Singh and his Imprisonment in Pakistan, Like me,I guess there are many Indians out there who are completely unaware of these neglected soldiers. Thanks to you Siri for penning down such a thought-provoking blog.

Yesterday when I visited one of my cousin's orkut album I found a pultizer prize winning picture. This picture is taken in 1994 during sudan famine.In this picture a child is crawling towards United Nations camp for the food which is 1 km away.Behind her a vulture is watching for her to die so that it can feast on her. This picture is taken by kevin carter.It seems he was depressed a lot after taking this picture and he commited suicide. After seeing the picture I searched about him in the google and found that he was depressed a lot and he use to sit under a tree and cry for not helping the child.No one knows what happened to the child. Even he wrote letters in the name of god asking him to forgive. After reading about this I am shocked and it took more than an hour for me to recover.
